Advocacy Services.
When disagreements arise between families and school districts, the process can feel overwhelming. We help parents navigate any disagreements or stalemates with clarity and a deep understanding of both special education law and school district operations.
How We Support Parents
°Review your child’s IEP, evaluations, and service history to identify strengths and gaps.
°Explain your rights in plain language so you understand what is reasonable, appropriate, and achievable.
°Prepare you for what comes next including what to expect, what to request, and how to prioritize outcomes.
°Develop clear, evidence‑based recommendations for services, placement, and supports.
°Attend meetings with you (in-person/virtual) to ensure your child’s needs are accurately represented.
°Collaborate with attorneys when cases involve legal proceedings or custody matters.
Our Approach
We are not adversarial. We are child‑centered and solution‑focused.
Our goal is to help families and districts reach agreements that support the student’s long‑term success.
When Parents Reach Out to Us
°The school is proposing a change in placement.
°Services are being reduced or denied.
°Evaluations don’t reflect the child’s needs.
°The IEP team is at an impasse.
°Parents need expert input during divorce or custody mediation.
°A child is in (or at risk of) out‑of‑district placement.
